Lambeau Field Offers Packers History and Cuisine

Practicing at the Women’s Health and Surgery Center in Stafford, Virginia, Dr. Kurian Thott focuses on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. During his free time, Dr. Kurian Thott enjoys following his favorite professional sports team, the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers’ home base, Lambeau Field, has extra features besides its football facilities. Two of these attractions are the Hall of Fame and the 1919 Kitchen & Tap.

Located in the stadium’s atrium, the Hall of Fame describes the team’s history in a series of interactive displays and artifacts. Touch screens enable visitors to see and hear highlights of the Packers’ story. One popular exhibit in the two-level facility is the replica of coach Vince Lombardi’s office, and another is the tribute to Packers quarterback Brett Favre. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays, with variations on game weekends.

Across the atrium is the 1919 Kitchen & Tap, which features some 80 beers and locally produced foods. The cuisine ranges from chicken wings and Cobb salads to bratwurst sandwiches and grilled New York strip steaks. A children’s menu is also available. Hours are daily, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with special times on game days.
